It all began with a shared passion and a dream. Rob and Thas, now retired, finally have the time to dedicate themselves to their true love: creating beautiful macrame and wood crafts. As a small business, we take pride in putting personal attention and dedication into every unique piece at an affordable cost. Our approach is rooted in quality and integrity, ensuring that every creation reflects our commitment to excellence and our unique selling point: macrame integrated with wood.
Our Core Values
At Rob and Thas Crafts, we strive for unique creations, not cookie-cutter reproductions. We integrate handmade products from all over the world with our macrame and wood creations. Thas is a genius with knots and our combined passion for woodcrafting lead to the creation of affordable and beautiful wall decor and other unique items that you won't find anywhere else. We want our customers to love our work and to know that they have what nobody else has.
Our process begins with nature. We walk through forests, finding fallen branches with unique lines. We collect these branches in the summer when they are dry, then clean and treat them with beeswax and other environmentally friendly compounds to preserve them. These are then integrated with our macrame. In addition, we also use various wood species in our woodworking process.
